Kathryn Shaffer, RN | Co-Founder & COO

Kathryn Shaffer, EdD, RN, MSN, CNE, CCFP, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Fifth Window, is an academic nurse leader with over 25 years of experience in nursing, leadership, and innovation expertise. In addition to her work as a nurse researcher and educator, she is a compassion fatigue expert, and has led efforts to promote the emotional well-being of front-line nurses at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
